I live in the south of Sweden.I have been working with textilpictures in fourthy years.

Since I`m constlanty chasing new inspiration and scenery for my pictures, I take photos to work from.

I try to vary my choice of scenery as mush as possible. For my pictures I use landscapes, still life ,

people and animals..

I work mostly with landscape and scenery from the areas around Kalmar and Öland,where we live in summer

and from travels in countries such France, Italy and Greece. I need access from many shades of colours to achieve

the desired effect.

Therefor I dye all the fabrics I use with batic dye. As a base I use woven cotton and on that I pin on

pieces of material to make a composition. I create a picture which I then change, observe and countinue

working on sometimes for days. I conclude the composition by sewing the seams at the sewingmachine

and then frame the final result.

Just like a painter seeks light and moods with brushes and paint

I seek with fabrics and sewingmachine.
